Your adventure begins early in the morning when you’re picked up from your accommodation in Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport. The scenic drive takes you to Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous and expansive wildlife reserves in the world. With over 14,000 square kilometers of savannah, the Serengeti is home to one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World — the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles make their way across the plains.
Upon arrival, you will have a game drive through the park, guided by an expert safari ranger. The Serengeti offers a diverse landscape of grassy plains, riverbanks, and woodlands that are home to a vast array of animals. You’ll have the chance to see the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos, along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and various species of birds.
Lunch will be enjoyed in the park, where you’ll have a picnic amidst the savannah, followed by an afternoon game drive in search of even more wildlife. As the sun sets, you’ll return to your lodge or camp where you’ll unwind, enjoy a hot meal, and reflect on the day’s safari adventures.
